2025 Pool Hours of Operation

June 9– August 10
Saturday 10am - 8 pm
Sunday 11am - 8 pm
Monday - Friday 10am - 8 pm
(Swim team will be practicing from 8AM - 10:30AM M-F
for better part of June)

August 11 – September 1

Note: The pool is deemed Swim At Your Own Risk.
There will be no lifeguard(s) monitoring the pool.
Pool fobs are required for entry into the pool area.

2025 Swim At Your Own Risk Program (SAYOR)

Beginning May 24th, residents will be able to use the pool early in the morning before our lifeguards come in to prepare the pool for daily use. In order to do so, please review the rules below and complete the authorization form. The form must be completed and submitted before your fob will be enabled for early morning access. LIFEGUARDS ARE NOT PRESENT

Pool Hours
Daily - 6:30am to CLOSE

A) The pool will close for half an hour prior to regular pool hours to allow for vacuuming, cleaning, etc. (Participants may remain on the grounds, but must be out of the water and not be in the lifeguards’ way)

B) Anyone under the age of 18 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED and WATCHED by an adult (age 18 and above)

C) Any homeowner that violates this requirement WILL HAVE THEIR POOL ACCESS SHUT OFF FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SWIM SEASON (pool access to swim at your own risk hours AND pool access to normal hours)

D) Anyone using the pool during the swim at your own risk hours must be able and willing to verify their age if requested.

E) This form should be emailed or faxed to Superior Management.  [email protected]  or Fax (704) 875-7177

F) Out of respect for surrounding homes, no music should be played.

G) These swim at your own risk hours are ONLY FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS. No Guests are allowed during these hours.

H) Normal hour pool rules continue to apply, for example, no running, diving, etc. (failure to follow the rules can result in pool rights revocation for the remainder of the swim season)

Get ready to shuffle up and deal! We’re excited to announce the Southampton Poker League, happening every Tuesday night in February at 7:30 PM in the clubhouse.
Whether you’re a seasoned poker player or just want to join the fun, this is your chance to connect with neighbors and enjoy a great game in a friendly, no-pressure environment.

Here’s the deal:
When: Every Tuesday in February at 7:30 PM
Where: Southampton Clubhouse
Format: Tournament-style Texas Hold’em (no money or buy-in involved—strictly for fun!)
Scoring: Earn points based on your exit position each week. First Out = 1 point, Second Out = 2 Points,... Last Out=A point for each player in the tournament that evening. The player with the most points after four weeks will be crowned Southampton’s Best Poker Player and will receive a trophy to prove it!

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet new friends, show off your poker face, and have a blast. Bring your best game (and any beverage or snacks that you may need).

  • Maintaining chemical balance of pool water
  • Vacuuming pool regularly
  • Cleaning tiles around pool edge
  • Back washing filter system
  • Cleaning and stocking bathhouses daily
  • Cleaning swimming pool area daily
  • Emptying trash and moving roll-outs to curb on designated days
  • Returning trash cans from curb
  • Straightening deck furniture and maintaining cleanliness on a daily basis
  • Raising and lowering of table umbrellas daily

Community Yard Sale
Saturday May 20th - 8AM thru 12PM

Time to turn those less used items into a little extra cash. The community will be advertising the yard sale to attract buyers. Please note that each participant is required to have a yard sale permit from Mecklenburg county.

During the next few inspections the management company will be continuing to focus their efforts on ensuring the community standards, outlined in the CCR's and Community Handbook, are being maintained.  Some of the items they will be focusing on as as follows:

  • Proper trash and recycle bin storage
  • Unraked or unmaintained lawns
  • Broken fences
  • Shutters
  • Exterior house clean from mold and dirt
  • Mailboxes

Additionally, please be aware that since July 5th the city of Charlotte only accepts yard waste in paper bags.  Please be sure you are following the guidelines outlined further here: https://charlottenc.gov/SWS/Pages/Yard-Waste-Collection.aspx

Hello Southampton Hurricane Families! 

We are excited to begin another summer swim team season.  Registration is now open for the neighborhood through the link here:

Space is limited so we encourage you to sign up early.  Save the date for Thursday, April 7 from 5pm-7pm for our Open House. We will be available to answer questions in person and our rep from All American Swim will be there to help with suit sizing and ordering.  Also, please consider becoming a sponsor of our team!  Even if you don't have a summer swimmer, we have opportunities available to advertise your company!  This would be a great way for your company to give back to your community and get your name/logo in front of a lot of people in the neighborhood.  For more information click the sponsorship link or email us.
